Helping at School

Helping at School is aligned to the Common Core State Standards for English/Language Arts, addressing Literacy.RI.K.1 and Literacy.L.K.1. This book explains the activities that are integral to becoming a helpful and courteous student. Each spread features narrative nonfiction text on the left, and full-page color photographs on the right, depicting students while they clean tables, feed pets, pick up paper and crayons, and properly close doors. This book should be paired with We Help at School (9781448886616) from the Rosen Common Core Readers Program to provide the alternative point of view on the same topic.
