Un dragon se sauve de son conte, vexe d'etre toujours le mechant. Il voudrait, pour une fois, etre le heros. Il rencontre un des trois petits cochons, Boucle d'or, Hansel et Gretel, et le Petit Chaperon rouge, mais aucun d'eux ne veut d'un dragon dans son histoire.
Puis, il arrive au pied d'un haricot magique, et se fait reperer par un geant. Il n'y pas de dragon dans cette histoire-la non plus, mais le geant s'en moque.
Maintenant que le geant a rejoint les contes, tous les personnages veulent que le dragon devienne le heros de leur histoire.
