Circles tells two very different stories, about three groups of very unique friends. In the short story A Crazy Harlem Dream, disaster strikes early on. When Danny. Karen and Tasha lose their father, and then their mother they are left all alone to fend for themselves. Danny becomes both mother, and father to his younger sisters, and with that responsibility his stress level is through the roof. Karen the amazing student loses interest in school real fast, and quickly moves out of the house and in with her no good boyfriend Tommy. Tasha the youngest of the three siblings, is left all alone to wonder what will become of her family. Her closest friends the Crimeez, and the Queens have her back when no one else does. But will that be enough to save her?

Circles A Novel introduces you to best friends Jazmine, and Nina. They are closer then any blood relatives could be, they could be you or me, and the love that they shared for each other would stand the test of time. Even though drugs, guns, prostitution, and destruction have surrounded them all of their lives. They still held their heads up high, and held on to a little bit of hope that things would get better soon. There were many people out there in the streets of Harlem, who didn’t think that they would survive their torment, and live to see another day.

But, one can always hope for a divine intervention, and just maybe these friends will get a pass in this life.
