They say a man can’t escape his past, which is true in most cases, …because, without having lived his reputable past, Upshur may not have gotten his son back and would have failed anyway, if not for the ancient Choctaw! The Indians saved Willy’s life and in gratitude, Upshur gave his promise that should they ever need him, he would come.

Thinking he would never have to keep the promise, he gave his word! But three months after bringing Willy home, his new friends were in trouble of a kind they could not fight alone and hope to win. An army of treasure hunters had descended on Devil Mountain, and they had a map to a fabulous gold mine.

What could he do that an army of ghostly warriors could not? Not knowing the answer, he took a friend back with him, …but could they succeed?
