Born in Yugoslavia to a German father and Serbian mother, Olga is the second of four children. After finishing University in Yugoslavia, she married an Army officer when she was 25. At the age of 82 Olga wrote this memoir of her childhood, outlining her many joys and hardships. She now lives with her son Misko in Belgrade, Serbia.
