Let’s face it I’m old. I was born nearly 60 years ago after all. I’m sooo last century.

But here I still am and here is my Racket.

My working life saw me working in all parts of Northern Ireland during the longest sustained terrorist campaign. Even worse we were half way between USSR and USA so if the rockets had taken off they would have passed each other by over my house. What a lovely thought.

I’ve been dabbling at poetry for a while. It takes some courage to make them public but if I can survive the world I can face that.

I hope that the poems are accessible as I don’t like cryptic poetry myself. If I am influenced by other poets I don’t know who as there is no intention to copy. But we all are influenced so I leave it to the reader to say who my models are.
