With the Joy in my Heart… The songs in this book came from a real desire to express a sincere faith and trust in the Lord that began in July 2008. I have been involved in music for 55 years in various venues. I believe that I received insight concerning composition and lyrics in music.

I had some extreme health issues last year, but the creation of songs for the piano and organ have brought joy to my heart and my life.

Also, in February 2009, I began drawing sketches of scenes and oil paintings at Lake Saxon, in central Florida, where I reside with my wife, Holly. We have two children who are employed in education; we also have three lovely grandchildren.
