This 2nd novel by Mr. Stevens is gritty. This book is not for the faint of heart, or, as he puts it \“ The lameos, ie.the frail of intellectual endeavors and the experientially vapid ones will be plain disgusted by it.\” I am in complete agreement. There are dead body parts, mayhem, erotica, and poetry of a deeply disturbing nature sprinkled liberally throughout this subtle plea for \“goodness.\” The death of his friend and mentor, Yonday, and his \“funeral\” caps the story. A new perspective is always what this world needs. This book has it \“in spades.\”
