Upon learning about it from his eclectic Earth science teacher, Mr. Bonson, he decides that he will investigate the site in the future. He begs his initially apprehensive friends to join him on what they decided was to be a suicide mission . They secede for a while, finally agreeing to a wager that they were sure to win. But contrary to what was expected, they lose, finally succumbing to his request. What they find when they go, however, is more than they ever bargained for. And they soon find themselves in a place where they’ve been expected. A place that would ultimately have them fighting to survive.
