Set in Dallas Texas, this is the story of a billionaire industrialist whose family is very close knit. They experience bizarre situations due to his daughter’s infidelity to her husband. China and her younger sibling Chandler have been at war with one another since childhood. She being the CEO of her father’s company, abuses her position especially toward her younger brother. Chandler is learning to be a corporate attorney at his father’s company. He exhibits high standards, morals and integrity, traits he owes to his mother and father along with his brother-in-law Nicholas who is also an icon in his eyes. China’s attitude about her latest fling with an airline pilot, who later saves her husband’s life during a near fatal plane crash, is quite cavalier making numerous attempts plotting to kill the pilot in order to keep her husband from discovering her infidelity which would most certainly end in divorce. Numerous twists and turns bring the characters closer because the bizarre behavior China exhibits which ultimately brings about her demise. The characters are loyal to one another, witty and steadfast in protecting each other, especially the black housekeeper Dixie Lee who is like a mother to the younger son and his brother-in-law. Emotions reach every level from love and hate, to desire, passion and deception.
