This is a poetry book based on the simplest of life’s moments, surroundings and events. It is the story of an early twentieth century woman - a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother and Grandmother who took time to enjoy the little things that happen every day. Her collection of poetry is a result of living through two world wars, a depression and wide sweeping changes to society. Her writings were done in between chores, and changing diapers - and she’d use anything handy to jot down her thoughts. Her sincere desire was to share these messages with others in hopes that they would benefit from being reminded about how special life can be when we scope out and enjoy the simple things. As a great-grandson of this talented author, M.C. Fair - I wanted to share her Rambling Rhymes with all who would like to uplifted by the sweet thoughts of a grandmother - when their days seems dark. This book is published in her honour - a tribute and keepsake to life’s simple and special moments.
