Goblins and the Jewish American Princess. Chicago model, Laurie Morgan was about to turn 30. She divorces her husband, thinking she could do better. She’s been known to sneak drags off her American Spirit Menthols while talking on the phone with relatives who think she’s quit smoking. While ordering organic vegetarian cuisine with her friend Lizzie, she asks if a change of hair color from red to blonde would spice up her career. Though she didn’t realize it, this would be the last ordinary lunch she’d ever have and Laurie’s life as she knew it would soon be ripped apart. A trail of mysterious photographs left by a half-sized twin of herself leads Laurie into a frightening world where you’ll find the denizens of strip clubs, neo-nazis and drag queens sharing the stage with fairy- tale creatures living hidden amongst us. Now behind her prison bars, Laurie doesn’t look like herself anymore. She’s been labeled a crazy killer and a domestic terrorist.
