The President is Dying

In the eve of the inauguration as President of the Republic, Manfredo Teles is taken quickly to the Hospital of Brasilia, where he is operated in emergency. There, it begins, for his wife (Mariana), his family and the people who idolize him, a death expectation that goes on to last 40 days and nights. The fight of the President to survive is changed into martyrdom, in a true ‘Calvary’, suffering 6 successive surgeries. This part of the story, based on recent and real events, divided in 7 episodes of much emotion and drama, having portrayed the suffering of the people and the disastrous consequences of what followed.
