A micro-trilogy in which natural life forms and automatons battle together against the Plaireoxytes, evil flying automatons, for survival on the small planet Jarstt. Fin delivers products from his father's business to aquatic vessels on the open sea. While Fin is on a delivery, Doff, Fin's father, is taken from his home by Plaireoxytes to appear before Stasq, the Plaireoxyte leader, in the Perch Tower. Stasq wants the Floraxis, a powerful shooting rod created by Doff for protection against the Plaireoxytes, to rid Jarstt of all natural life forms. Unaware of his father's creation, Fin leaves his home to search for his father. Along the way, Fin finds some allies: Quisalo - a shipping tycoon, Barleephethers - an automaton, Tu-weech - a small Daloonian, and Kaxx - a former love. Stasq dispatches his assistant, Jepernip, to retrieve the Floraxis.
