Islamic Art: Recognizing Geometric Ideas in Art

This book introduces students to various Islamic art creations, which are all rooted in the use of geometric patterning. Students will learn why symmetry and balance play an important role in Islamic culture, while also focusing on how to construct and understand the highlighted patterns.
