When natural disaster strikes, it is often unexpected and devastating. But thankfully, many people survive. Depending on the circumstances, their survival may well be remarkable and against the odds. This title briefly describes hurricanes, then goes on to tell the stories of particular survivors from Hurricanes Andrew (Florida), Mitch (Honduras and neighboring countries), Floyd (North Carolina), and Katrina (Louisiana and Mississippi).
