Using primary sources, this book illustrates the timeline of Kepler’s discovery of planetary motion. His finding helped usher in an age of scientific discovery that had never existed before, with science replacing religion as the basis for understanding the universe. Also included are Kepler’s notes and manuscripts as well as reproductions of some of the tools he used.
