Desiderius Erasmus

One cannot discuss the Renaissance without coming across the name of Desiderius Erasmus. He was renowned for scholarship, views on education, religion, and conduct. Erasmus found himself in the midst of the religious debate in Europe during the sixteenth century and regardless of where his path led he would find himself subject to praise and scrutiny. AUTHOR: Amy was born and bred in Liverpool before moving to the Midlands to study criminal justice and becoming a civil servant. She has long been interested in history, reading as much and as often as she could. Her writing journey began with her blog, before writing her first book.
