Adopted at birth, Marah spent a life of wandering and following different passions hoping to make a difference in the world. She learned later in life through writing and innerwork that is how she would contribute to the world around her. She is Tlingit, Aleut, Swedish, and Norwegian and raised catholic, but searched through different belief systems religious/spiritual until she found one that sung her name. These poems bear witness of soul searching.
