For we are the work of thine hands; Thou hast created us and redeemed us, and, for thy dear Son’s sake, art ever pouring thy blessings upon us and never forsaking us, though we often forsake Thee. And because Thou hast promised mercy to such as sincerely seek it, and remember thy Covenant, therefore, we now renew our Covenant and solemnly devote to Thee our souls and bodies which is our reasonable service.
