To deliver is to help someone escape from something bad or evil. Deliverance is the state of being saved from harm or danger. The deliverance ministry involves casting out demons and destroying the works of the devil. As we cast out devils and destroy their works, no power of darkness shall hurt or harm us. But know that it is the Word of God which gives light to people. As a matter of fact, deliverance can remove demons and their works from people; but it is the Word of God that will give them freedom. The Word of God says, "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father" (Jn 14:12)!
