George Neve was an ordinary man from Hastings, Sussex. Just newly married when WW2 came calling. As a nursing orderly in the RAMC George saw active service in Sicily, Italy and was dropped by Glider into Arnhem before being captured by the enemy. With a young daughter and new baby at home George didn't know if he would get home again. He did, but it came at a price. A loving, caring family man who rarely spoke of his time in the war.
