Spencer de Gauthier is an American poet, artist, writer, and gallerist, currently living and working in that country. He has herein produced a volume of his collected poetry, written between the period of 2013 and 2015, while he was living first in New York City, and then Los Angeles. These poems express the passions, aspirations, and tribulations of a young man of the lower classes living in the first decades of the 21st century. These are the writings of a young man, who like most, was trained from youth to expect fortune, and now with dispelled illusions, he faces the reality of his class.
