The language in the book is written in a way that doesn’t assume that the child lives with her birthfamily, so children in foster care or who are being raised by relatives or those dealing with adoption-related trauma won’t feel left out. The Amazing You is now being used in the 21st Century Community Learning Centers in the St. Tammany Parish School District of Louisiana for their After School Program.
