This book is the culmination of more than seventy- five years of Bible study. Talbot started his search for scriptural knowledge as soon as he learned to read. At about forty years of age he heard the expression "Jesus is God" for the first time. It came as a shock since he had been taught and believed that Jesus was the Son of God. Talbot began an intensive search for the foundations of this tenet of theology and learned that it followed logically from the Doctrine of the Trinity. Being aware that Trinity is not a term found in the New Testament, he proceeded to determine the New Testament Doctrine of God. As he reviewed his lifetime of Bible teaching and discussion Talbot recalled that many Bible readers held beliefs that demonstrated a misunderstanding or lack of comprehension of the scriptures. In this book he shares his insights into some fundamental New Testament teachings.
