When Jim Game decides to call time on the unsuccessful comedy double-act, Wild and Game, his partner Tommy Wild persuades him to give it one last shot. Tommy has a new character he wants to try out, Mr Herribone, which involves him donning a grotesque sack-cloth head he discovered backstage at a run-down theatre. To Jim's amazement, with this new character on board, the duo's fortunes start to improve.
