The author-artist probes the experience of being "in transit" through a series of oil paintings completed between 2010 and 2013. Based on her own photographs these images, distilled and transmuted, capture the traveler's sense of liminality. They are a visual metaphor for life's journey, with it's beginnings and endings openings and closings, and places of stagnation and flux.
