"The Tree Keeper" is a story about five children, some of whom have special needs, who embark upon a journey to the Tall Forest to find food for their families. Overcoming their limitations to reach a common goal, they learn to work together by using the strengths that God gifted them with. Following the story, some specific disabilities are discussed to teach a little bit about what to expect when raising or interacting with a child who has one of these special needs (Down syndrome, albinism, autism, cerebral palsy, or epilepsy). "The Tree Keeper" emphasizes that every child is made by God and is not a mistake.
