A mild-mannered insurance salesman Johnny Clark gets set up by his wife and her lover boyfriend and ends up doing time in the Indiana State Prison. While incarcerated he must become tougher to survive. Johnny soon becomes good friends with a Chicago Torpedo and goes on the lam. Not only was Johnny Clark doing time in prison for nothing but upon him and his cellmate escaping, he becomes a wanted man. All Johnny wanted was revenge but soon the G-men give chase as battles erupt for freedom and survival on the streets.
