The Bible is an intimidating collection of books, with thousands of pages written over thousands of years. For many people (including Christians), this is just too much, and so we don't read it for ourselves. Thus, we are dependent on others to deliver the words and provide an understanding. This is sad, considering that some of us consider these books the real stories of people encountering our Creator and God. Why, or why, would we not want to read it! And so, this little book was written, that those who might want to hear can do so, with a bit less dread.
