A first collection of poetry by Sian Walker. Her poems are inspired by her environment and the people around her. She lives in West Wales and spends her time outdoors gathering ideas for her work. She has a fascination for trees and old buildings and these are often featured in her poems. Themes include nature, old buildings and reflections. She attends the Hay festival and other writing events around the year and runs her own poetry group. Her motivation for writing poetry is to inspire others to write, to take people on an adventure and to see where her imagination would take her. She wants to create powerful and dramatic emotions in people and to make them feel something. She loves quirky things and thinks of herself as a colourful poet.
