Placid Pines

Thomas was born in Philadelphia in 1967. He spent six years in the Army as a Medical Specialist and is a graduate of West Chester University. He practices contemplative driving, qigong, likes jogging, hiking, and of course, writing. He currently lives in Santa Fe, NM.

"Nothing ever happens here," is the local motto as developers clear-cut portions of the New Jersey Pine Barrens to make way for a new upscale bedroom community called Placid Pines. But with something now on the loose in this quiet New Jersey neighborhood, no one's getting any sleep or getting to home on time... or getting home at all. Rumors abound that the Jersey Devil is responsible, and for Detective John Dunn it's a race against the past to find the truth - the truth he suspects all along. Something is terrorizing the idyllic suburban development bordering the Pine Barrens... Something terrible.
