When you enter into a "sincere" agreement (covenant) with the Lord, He will keep His promise to you! Many that teach tithing put emphasis on the calamity caused from curses. Some teach tithing as a necessity to keep the church economy going. You should tithe because you want to honor God for allowing you to be a steward over His blessings that He has entrusted in your care. Tithing is not a dispensational doctrine (Law), but an eternal principle. Tithing is not a commandment, but a COVENANT! I can prove it!
