Neil started photographing live gigs in l978 and produced freelance work for NME, Sounds and Record Mirror. After a break from live photography of 20 years he returned to the London live scene with a digital camera in 2006. He has been published widely in periodicals as diverse as The Morning Star and Oxfordshire Life. He also produced his own photo fanzine - the Poser - which John Peel described as 'worth getting hold of'. Recently New York specialist bookseller Harper's Books described the Poser as "influential UK punk 'zine" and the content as "arresting photographs". This collection features 170 photos of 49 exciting bands and continues where the Poser left off.
