Miscellaneous Targets

This report covers the medical effects of the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima 6 August 1945, and on Nagasaki 9 August 1945. It also analyzes the physical damage as related to death and injury of personnel, the organization of relief activities by the Japanese, and their methods of treatment, which were inadequate to a startling degree. Topics include effects of the radiations on the human body, residual radioactivity, various aspects of the atomic bomb, and organization of research in nuclear physics in Japan.
