The growing demand for information technology drives the creation of more data centers. This equipment requires a great deal of electricity, either to power the equipment or the air conditioning to cool the equipment. The solution to this problem will require investment in new technologies to reduce the electricity required to provide the same computing power and the same amount of cooling.
