Poetry has always been a passion of mine, one that was lost for several years while I was wrapped up having a family and raising my young children. It was not until my motheras car accident, which resulted in her passing nine months later, that I began to write again. It helped me work through my thoughts and heal from a great tragedy, which affected my entire family. I felt my momas presence when I decided to publish my poetry. She would be proud that I did it, and that I am able to share my poetry with others in hopes that it can inspire them to share their thoughts or encourage them to continue through lifeas struggles and know they are not the only ones out there with similar situations.
