Lendon, Illinois, is a town full of broken dreams. But through the eyes of Carter Roberts, an orphaned runaway who saw beyond the heartbreak, Lendon is paradiseaa place where people fight to help one another, despite their own troubles, a town filled with people who allow Carter to become part of their lives and leave life on the street behind.
