L. W. Shortridge reveals pearls of inspiration gained through his spiritual quest spanning the last fifty-two years. This is a true story about his after-death experience when he was just nineteen years old. In 1957 he was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Josephs hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, after a catastrophic car accident. Coincidently his fiancAA©e, Cherie Reynolds, worked the night shift at St. Josephs. She was on duty when he was admitted to emergency and played and important role in his survival. In this book he reveals his after-death experience, (ADE) during his forty-five minutes in heaven, and how it has affected his life since . He has shared this profound story with only a few, mostly because he thought no one would truly believe him, and he would lose credibility. Inspired by reading accounts of others that have had similar experiences, Shortridge decided it was time to share his unique journey. Accountings of near-death experiences (NDE) are fairly well documented, sharing similar visions such as floating over one’s body, the tunnel of light, and hearing beautiful music.
