Deborah was the Judge and Prophtess of Israel, epitomizing Godas law. She was passionate about the ignorance and disregard of that law by the people (her people) who continually turned to apostasy. They ignored God when their lives were blessed and despair seemed far away. They didnat learn because the desire to pursue pagan practices ruled their lives. Deborahas faithful and dedicated husband, Lapidoth, made their life together full and wonderful. In the back of her mind and in her dreams, the mysterious Ertan demanded her attention. The grief of loss and the victory of winning eventually brought Deborah into Ertanas arms. The day would come when Ertanas presence would fill Deborahas world and her life. Godas plan for her life included far-reaching experiences and people, and the fire of her passion radiated outward to the whole world.
