Letters to Cassite Kings from the Temple Archives of Nippur (1908)

An innocent man, Harvey Dexter is executed leaving behind someone that wants revenge. Curtis Lake and his partner are starting a new job when unbeknownst a vengeful killer strikes. His wife Chief Rivers, calls telling him someone just blew up the courthouse. Chief Rivers fails to handle the investigation alone, placing her husband Curtis, on a trajectory to disaster. Curtis ignores the FBI’s warning to stay clear of the investigation. While on the trail of a vicious killer, Curtis finds himself in the middle of a terrorist act, with bits and pieces of another unexplained crime exposing a cover-up. He stumbles upon three possible suspects. Jimmy Davis, Roger Potts, and Jimmy O'Shea. Doc Ryan, the Chief Medical Examiner turns the case a 180 degrees, pointing the investigation in a complete different direction. His discovery of a mutilated body forces Curtis to rethink what it is he overlooked, the man next to him.
