These are the stories of manyabut not allaof my travels. They occurred at the cusp of the new millennium, a year or two before and a half decade after. All the places I have seen are within reach of the ordinary traveleraof the everyman. During my voyages I found new adventures everywhere, met wonderful people, and saw extraordinary sights. I brushed shoulders with lots of folks traveling my same path. And, while I sought no enlightenment on my trips, I have often been enlightenedato the pleasures of unique sites, god and man-made; the uniqueness of individuals and our common dreams; and the vastness of our world accompanied by the sad reflection that I shall never be able to explore it all. I have organized my travels geographically. But you can explore by jumping to a destination of your choice. I have given you a buffet of places to visit, to choose according to your taste.
