All of these poems were composed while sitting at a table with a half-empty glass and a full one on the way. I was concerned with the issues of living, aliterally, a and I hate the overuse of that word (more on that in the next collection, possibly). Taking long hard looks at myself and the world around me while yearning for a deeper morality within the human experience, major and permanent changes were taking place inside. Little slivers of truths were rung from within, finding their way into poems, which poured out unexpectedly and shockingly. They have forever altered my perceptions and talents.
