J. S. Tate (‘Tater’), a nightmare-haunted World War II flyer, is upset and bitter because he believes that while he was in combat overseas all those he was close to back home had betrayed him. Just how will ‘Tater’- back home on the eve of V-E Day after being honorably discharged - cope with both his unhappiness and his nightmares? Joey, Joe, and Joseph is a unique work of fiction that is really three stories about the same protagonist in which the first two stories contribute to the climactic ending in the third.
