Kevin and Trisha, founders of the Vincent Society of Mysteries and investigators of mysterious phenomena, begin their study regarding a diamond bracelet that was found on the corpse of a destitute man. Kevin uses his trance medium abilities to identify the man and finds that the bracelet has belonged to many owners, destroying many of the lives it has touched. Kevin and Trisha set out to find the original owner in order to determine how the object became cursed. Their search traces the owners, whose lives seem to miraculously improve once they have shared their experiences. Not only does the magic of the bracelet heal what it previously had harmed, but it also gives birth to a romance between Kevin and Trisha.
