A cherub from heaven becomes a loving little girl named Annie who shows great empathy toward those who are discriminated against by society. She teaches a great lesson to all of us. By her example, she instills patience, courage, enthusiasm, but above all sacrifice in order to provide confidence in her best friends. Her best friend, Laurie, who has Downas syndrome, overcomes her fear of the unknown, and with the help of Annie, develops a meaningful life and confidence in herself. A terrible accident occurs that causes Laurie to regress. Through Annieas support and sensitivity, Laurie overcomes yet another crisis in her life. Because of her girlish curiosity and her adventuresome personality, Annie discovers a secret hideaway that she now wants to share with her bestis friend.
