Singoalla: A Romance (1903)

In 1959 on the Island of Kaua'i, a growing panic is stretching its mysteriousshadow across the Hawaiian island chain to the village of Kekaha on Kaua'i’s western shore.
Young boys are vanishing and many of the native islanders, specifically theranchers of the Forbidden Isle, believe that the man-eating spirits of legendare to blame.
The two local authorities, Chief Constable Kekoa Tabura and his gulliblecousin, Polunu, are forced to duty by the unrest of the villagers. Theirinvestigation leads them island-hopping then into the lush Waimea jungleand eventually to the doorsteps of intriguing and sinister islanders who spintales of macabre happenings from eighteen years before.
It is then that our constables learn that Pearl Harbor-and its own storyof destruction-was only the beginning of more immediate and gruesome realities…
Born in 1956 in Orange, California, W. D. Bill Jordan has been a Southern California boy his whole life. Raised in Garden Grove then migrating to suburbanWestminster in 1968, he attended Fountain Valley High School then studied Drafting at Golden West Junior College.
Married young at 18, and raised with commitment to the word responsible, Bill went to work. He has spent the majority of his life in the roofing industry, primarily as a contractor with nearly thirty years filled with his first ofmany hobbies, coaching girl’s softball; climbing the ranks to the High School and Club levels.
Currently, Bill is enjoying his three wonderful adult children and fivegrandchildren, while residing in the beautiful hills of Whittier with his wifeand love of the past 13-years.
