Locked in my mind, two decades ago, are dreams and visions acquired from when I was struck down with schizophrenia. These visions were unforgettable! Considering I was sick, it still seemed as though I had a brush with the paranormal. Intrigued by what I believe to be the word of God, the Bible, it would allow a portal into that other world of the divinely paranormal. In my condition, it is unhealthy to dwell on invented scenarios or things that are out of my control. These aspects can be involved in the world of prophesy. It is like a kid following candy through a minefield. This is a good analogy of how a person like myself approaches seeing into the future. Prophesy can be a weighty matter for Christ’s believers. It truly allows one to think in awe at our Master’s power, as long as it doesn’t become an obsession and detract from the simple message of grace through Jesus Christ.
