Fred Kimble: Master Duck Shot of the World (1823)

This extremely rare, short anthology of waterfowl hunting was written and assembled by five major contributors, namely Charles Askins, Fred Kimble himself, William C. Hazelton, Joseph Ragland, and Theodore S. Van Dyke. Askins was an Army officer active in military and, later, sporting marksmanship development, and author of several hunting books. Kimble was among the small group of renowned waterfowl market hunters who in later life turned their shooting interests to public tournaments and exhibitions.–Henry M. Reeves.
