The revised Student Activities Manual (SAM) provides oral and written activities that progress methodically from comprehension to expression. ‘Prononcez bien!’ sections focus on a specific phonetic difficulty that students may encounter in each given chapter. The written activities in the SAM offer practice on every point of structure in the unit and culminate in a suggested composition that features a process-oriented writing approach and incorporates web-based research. A realia-based writing activity completes this section. In addition, ‘A l’ cran!‘ sections provide activities based on the 'court m trage’ films of the video program.
